Former Clinton resident Lance Merrill, 32, was killed at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, July 4, when the motorcycle he was riding was hit by a pickup three miles south of Comanche in Stephens County.

Merrill, who was living in Duncan, was pronounced dead of massive injuries at the scene.

He was a 2001 graduate of Clinton High School.
