Two people injured at Saturday night’s performance of the Clinton Rodeo apparently will be okay, Roundup Club secretary Launa Kimble said Monday.

Ms. Kimble said Blake Mullett, 20, of Yukon, was taken by ambulance to the Clinton hospital where he was treated for a head injury before being released to go home.

Water from the Dixon well has met all its required quality tests to become part of Clinton’s municipal water supply, Public Works Director Donald Webb said Friday.

A $500 rifle stolen June 2 in a series of auto burglaries has been recovered, but Clinton police are still working a house burglary that occurred last Saturday in which goods valued at more than $4,000 were taken.

   Clinton Livestock Auction owner Blake Berry estimates there are 30 to 40 percent fewer cattle than there were three years ago in this extended and continuing drought.
