Clinton police have released information about a search warrant they executed March 30, but they say nothing was found to warrant charges.

Opportunities Inc., a major provider of community services in Clinton, has been forced to relocate its office for the second time in a year. But the new landlord has allowed them to sign a three-year lease, which Facility Manager and Outreach Coordinator Keri Divis hopes will provide some needed stability to the community they serve.

Contract renewals with Sinor Emergency Medical Service are pending for both Clinton and Weatherford, and city officials from both say they have been contacted by another ambulance company.

Costly cattle

Clinton Livestock Auction owner Blake Berry estimates there are 30 to 40 percent fewer cattle than there were three years ago in this extended and continuing drought.

After, by his own estimation, 41 years, one month and one week in the pulpit of the First Church of God, Roy Dobbs told his Church Council and congregation Sunday that he is retiring.
