City officials and their engineer were expecting the construction permit for the much-anticipated Dixon water well to be issued sometime today.
Dirt underneath part of an asphalt roadway in northwest Custer County has washed out but fortunately will be repaired before the asphalt falls in beneath an unaware motorist, County Commissioner Lyle Miller said Monday.
“The problem was on County Road 910 near C.R. 2070,” said Miller. “That road carries a lot of oilfield traffic.”
