While the Clinton Lake water treatment plant was without electrical power for approximately 2½ days over the weekend, City Manager Mark Skiles said the water supply to town was never in danger because of generator backup.

A one of a kind semi-truck will be in Hydro next Monday and Tuesday. A mobile canning unit is mounted on the bed of the truck, and every year, from October to May, it travels 12,000 miles to 34 locations in 13 U.S. states and two Canadian provinces.

Steve Belcher, a reporter and news editor here since 1973, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. He was 64.
