Inmates of the Custer County Jail will continue to receive health care from Advanced Correctional Healthcare Inc. of Peoria, Ill., under a contract renewed Monday by county commissioners.

The annual fee is rising slightly under the new contract – from $38,520 to $39,445. That’s an increase of $925, or 2.4 percent.

Two people injured at Saturday night’s performance of the Clinton Rodeo apparently will be okay, Roundup Club secretary Launa Kimble said Monday.

Ms. Kimble said Blake Mullett, 20, of Yukon, was taken by ambulance to the Clinton hospital where he was treated for a head injury before being released to go home.

Water from the Dixon well has met all its required quality tests to become part of Clinton’s municipal water supply, Public Works Director Donald Webb said Friday.
