Master Sgt. Earl Plumlee, who was born in Clinton and went to school in Merritt, will be one of three surviving Congressional Medal of Honor recipients with Oklahoma ties to be honored April 1 at the State Capitol. A plaque will be presented in the Oklahoma Hall of Heroes on the second floor.
