Reds fall in summer baseball home opener

To start off the summer slate the Clinton High School Reds baseball team got an unexpected cool down with rain moving in during its 11-4 loss against Chickasha Thursday at home.

Final preparations are underway for the second annual Clinton Classic Run. The race is being held Saturday and it will begin at the corner of Frisco Avenue and Fifth Street and take place along old Route 66.

With many marathons happening around the country throughout the year, Clinton will be conducting one of its own. The second annual Clinton Classic Run will be held Saturday starting and ending on Frisco Avenue. The run will begin at 7:30 a.m.

Senior proud of time in tennis program

For Clinton High School senior tennis player Finn Murray life is looking up for him. He was named valedictorian of his senior class this year, and then he followed that up by participating in the Class 4A Regional Tournament for tennis, where he and his No. 1 doubles partner Dakota Elizondo were named alternates for the state tournament earlier this month.
