Robinson, 72, former Clinton, OK resident and now of Cape Girardeau, MO, will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 10:00 am, at the Kiesau Memorial Chapel in Clinton.
Barry was born in Clinton, OK on May 1, 1950, to Corwen and Billie Jean Robinson. He grew up in Clinton, graduating from Clinton High School in 1968.
He attended the University of Oklahoma. Barry then travelled, seeing the country, and experiencing life. He returned to Clinton in 1978 and partnered with his dad at Robinson Edmonds Automotive. He met his dream woman Kim Bingenheimer and they married on October 30, 1981, in Clinton, OK.
Daughter, Katelin was born in 1984.
Barry and family moved to Texas for opportunities in hotel management.
These years led to moves in a variety of places: Daughter Haley was born in 1991.
In 1993, the Robinsons moved to their home in Cape Girardeau, MO. Other moves in Missouri kept Barry busy in the hotel business.
Continuing their zest for new experiences, Barry and Kim opened a cafe in Cape Girardeau, MO. In 2012, Barry ended his working career and retired.
He had a passion for his daughters, his family, friends, plants, music, cooking, and a spirited debate. He loved to spend his time gardening. Though in later years, his health prevented much activity, he remained curious and continued to question the universe.
Barry died Tuesday, December 6, 2022, while visiting family in Clinton.
He is survived by his wife Kim, of the home; daughter Katelin (Matt) Wilson of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughter Haley (Zac) of Bayfield, CO; Mother-in-law Pauline Bingenheimer, brother-in-law Michael Bingenheimer, sister Paula Stewart (Larry), sister Ann (Patrick) Bardone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
