Funeral Services for Isaac Crawford, 69, Custer City, OK resident will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, January 9, 2023, in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Jerry Yoder. Burial will follow in the Custer City Masonic Cemetery in Custer City, OK under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
The family will greet guests 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm., Sunday, January 8, 2023.
Isaac Crawford was born August 31, 1953, to Claude Preston Crawford and Joy Rebecca (Jantz) Crawford in French Camp, CA and passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in his rural Custer City home.
Isaac was raised in Manteca, CA where he graduated high school in 1972. He moved to Oklahoma to farm and settled in the Custer City area in 1975. He worked for various farmers in the area and was working for Harry Jantz when he met the love of his life, the farmer’s daughter, Cheryle Jantz. They were married on July 17, 1976, in Custer City, OK.
He continued to farm but also was employed with the Kellwood Factory, Morton Buildings, and the United Super Market in Clinton and Weatherford. He later began a career with Texas Oil and Gas which later became One OK and retired with them in 2016.
He was a member of the Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Custer County Cattlemen’s Association and had served as Boy Scout Master.
He is preceded in death by his parents, father and mother-inlaw, Harry and Louise Jantz and two sisters in law, Regina Crawford and Diane Jantz.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryle, of the Home, two sons, Jason Crawford and wife, Jennifer, Mannford, OK and Erik Crawford and wife, Amber, Hinton, OK, four brothers, Roger Crawford and Wife, Betty, Stockton, CA, Fred Crawford and wife, Pam, Tucson, AZ, Mike Crawford, NewCastle, OK and David Crawford and wife, Lorraine, Medford, OR.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Gabriel Crawford, Brooklynn Crawford, Dakota Crawford, Payton Crawford and Alexis Crawford.
