Donald Gene Blackwolf, 86, passed away at home surrounded by his family in Anadarko, OK. He was born in Clinton, OK on March 9, 1937 to John Joe and Katherine (Parrish) Blackwolf.
Donald attended the Concho Boarding school and graduated from El Reno High school. He joined the Air Force on Oct 14, 1956 and came home on Oct 15, 1962. He received the Good Conduct Medal. He retired from the Concho Boarding School as a boys dorm parent. He was seen as a father to those he coached and mentored. He was blessed with a house full of children, Karen, Vida, Betty, Donald, Daniel, Danielle, Kerrie, Kellie, Dex, Kelly, Henry, Queena, Junior, Tim, Jackie and Sheri. Donald loved his family and being part of the family functions.
He loved playing and watching basketball, softball, golf. His greatest love was fast pitch softball which at the age of 44 he was written up in the Daily Oklahoman paper as still having the ability to fast pitch at the speed that he was doing in his younger years. He was inducted into the Oklahoma Softball Hall of Fame in 2007. He was an avid fan for the OU Sooners.
He was a proud member of the Cheyenne-Arapaho tribes.

He was loved by a host of family and friends.
