Appoline (Polly) Ann Marantos was born on February 9, 1927 to William A.

Marantos and Sarah Beatrice Davis Marantos in California.

She passed away on May 18, 2023 at River Valley in Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 96. She grew up in Tehachapi, California. She married Ralph Lee in 1946, and they had 10 children. She was a cook at Eakly Schools and moved to Arapaho and then later to Clinton. She worked at Kellwoods, Ashley’s Outlet, and Dairy Best. She then worked for Maggie and Zula Anderson.

Polly sewed all of her childrens’ clothes, and she loved it when her children and grandchildren went to visit her.

She was preceded in death by her mom and dad, 3 brothers, Gene, Allen, and George Marantos, 1 sister, Voila Eakins, her son Ruben Lee, and grandchildren Terril Russ and Terrilee Tayler.

She is survived by Mary Lee, Linda and Dean Brookshier, Carol and Dale Russ, Robert Lee, Russell and Linda Lee, Nancy Lee, Mary and Tim McCulley, Randy and Teresa Lee, Pam and Gary Flowers, and Terry Posey. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
