A Memorial Service for Attorney Donald L. Rodolph, 79, former Clinton Mayor and Civic Leader, will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the First United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Temple Diehl.
Donald Lee Rodolph was born January 14, 1943, to David and Edna (Page) Rodolph in Thomas, OK and passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, in the Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.
Don was raised in Temple, OK where he graduated from Temple High School in 1961. He continued his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK where he received his Business and Accounting Degree. He moved to Norman, OK where he attended the Oklahoma University Law School and graduated in 1969.
While attending Law School, he supported him self-working as a social worker.
He married his college sweetheart and the love of his life, Nancy Meaders on June 21, 1969, in Ada, OK.
That same year he established a law firm in Clinton and had offices in Leedey and Taloga. He also worked nights at Clinton Sherman Air Force Base teaching evening law classes until its closing.
He was known to be a generous man and always willing to give. He loved Clinton and served 16 years as Clintons Mayor as well as serving on the City Council and served a term as City Judge.
He also served as president of the Oklahoma Municipal League and awarded Mayor of the year in 1994. He also loved the outdoors and spending time farming and ranching.
He was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church; he was all about his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He was an avid fan of Oklahoma University Sports, he owned and operated numerous other businesses.
He is preceded by his parents, sister, Vicki McIhaney and a brother, Dale Rodolph and his fourlegged friend, Zeus.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy, of the home, daughter, Stephanie Malone and husband, Kyle, and their two children, Harper and Owen Malone of Goldsby, OK: son, McCary Rodolph and wife, Shannon, and their children, Caleb Edens, Cash Rodolph, Arik Soto and Dillon Soto, of Weatherford, OK and son Mark Rodolph, Foss, OK.
