Homer “Lee” Johnson II, longtime resident of Arapaho, Oklahoma, passed away on June 25th, 2023 at the age of 58.
Lee was born in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Homer and Maxine (Miller) Johnson on October 28th, 1964, later moving to Clinton, Oklahoma at 6 months. His parents ran the Big 8 Motel there for many years. Lee graduated from Clinton High School in 1982. Three years later, on February 13, 1985 Lee married the love of his life, DeAnn, in Arapaho, Oklahoma. They moved to their home south of Arapaho in 1987. In their 38 years together came their son and eventually grandchildren, who they took great pride in. Together in 1991, Lee and DeAnn started Johnson Signs, a business they owned and operated. Lee was a hard worker. He was dedicated to giving those he served the best service he could.
Lee is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Maxine Johnson.
Left to honor his memory include his wife DeAnn Johnson; son Sidney Johnson and Thuy Hadvab of Gilbert, Arizona; sisters Deborah Johnson and spouse Sie Enyart of Luther, Oklahoma, and Catherine Poe and spouse Niel Poe of Elkins, West Virginia; in-laws Linda and Jake Carman of Hydro, Oklahoma, and Bill and Robyn Williams of Clinton, Oklahoma; brotherin- law Will Williams and Sojnie of Weatherford, Oklahoma; grandchildren Carson Hadvab and Parker Hadvab both of Gilbert, Arizona; niece Kelly Enyart and spouse Jason Stacy of Edmond, Oklahoma; nephews Kameron and Heather Williams of Weatherford, Oklahoma, Kyler and Amanda Williams of Clinton, Oklahoma, and Owen and Shanna Poe of Elkins, West Virginia; longtime friends Brian Benedict of Weatherford, Oklahoma and Kim Digby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; as well as many, many special friends Lee made over the years.
Memorials May be made to your local emergency responders. Lee was so grateful for their help after his accident.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
