Funeral services for Jenny Shindler, 75, of Arapaho were held Monday in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel.
She died Monday, July 23, 2019, in the Norman Regional Hospital in Norman.
Jenny Lynn (Gannon) Shindler was born Dec. 12, 1943, to Walter and Lula (Wathan) Gannon in Ada. She was raised and attended school in Clinton.
On June 28, 1960, she married Eddie Shindler in Wheeler, Texas, and the couple made homes in Clinton and Arapaho.
Shindler was employed with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation as a warehouse manager.
She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Arapaho and she enjoyed reading, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Michael Shindler; and four sisters, Patricia Harris, Margie Clark, Delores Odell and Nancy.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Shindler and husband Glen, and a sister, Connie Gannon, all of Arapaho; her grandchildren, Christopher and wife Tabitha and their children, Damian, Domnick and Abbie; a granddaughter, Jennifer and husband Jeff and their children, Kaden, Kenedi and Jaycee Mayjoffo.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The service was officiated by Rev. Wendell Folsom and burial followed at Arapaho Cemetery under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
