12U ends season on day three of state

WEATHERFORD – A 12-11, wild, walk-off win Wednesday night versus Kingfisher kept the Clinton 12U baseball team’s season alive at the state tourney, but it came to an end Thursday against the Blanchard Lions in a 12-1, fourinning defeat.

Clinton goes distance in elimination loss

Facing tough odds, the Clinton Maroon baseball team rebounded from its firstround loss and went all five innings against the Navajo Indians in a 12-8, season-ending loss Wednesday afternoon in the OK Kids coach pitch state tournament.

Clinton Maroon drops

A young, Clinton Maroon baseball team (25-14 overall) took on the challenge of competing in the OK Kids coach pitch state tournament and fell in its opening game against the Stilwell Indians Tuesday night at Acme Brick Park, 18-0.
