Lachlan Penner of the WOCS 4-H placed fourth in the intermediate division with his speech about a scripture from Proverbs at the Custer County 4-H Speech Contest.

The COVID-19 vaccine made by Pfizer was granted an Emergency Use Authorization recently the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The first doses of Pfizer’s vaccine have arrived in Oklahoma this week.

Applications are now open for grants and loans through the Oklahoma Healthy Food Financing Program – a brand new program aiming to create or improve a retail food location in areas with low access to fresh foods and a low-income population.
