Rollover wreck on Gary

A two-car rollover wreck with injuries occurred at the intersection of Gary Boulevard and Jaycee Lane Wednesday around noon. A van involved in the accident was turned over on its side due to the impact, trapping a few individuals inside for a moment. First responders arrived and extricated those involved. The final individual was freed once the front windshield was cut open, using a rotary saw. At least two were taken to AllianceHealth Clinton. $50,000 donation will provide 160,000 meals in area

The Clinton firm of Graft & Walraven Law Offices and Bank of the West presented a check for $20,000 this week to the Weatherford Food & Resource Center (WFRC), to help feed hungry families in the region. The two companies had announced in June that they would provide matching donations, up to $20,000, to anyone who made cash donations to WFRC.
