Local firms, CHS partner on intern program

A student job internship program that was in the planning stages last fall began in earnest at the start of this year. Clinton High School teacher Debbie Carlisle said the program is going even better than expected.

Motorcycle wreck proves deadly

Around the noon hour Friday three motorcycles were involved in a crash at the westbound exit near Love’s. As of press time officials declared one casualty and several injured at the scene.

Sale barn changes hands

The Western Oklahoma Livestock Auction is tentatively scheduled to open its doors to cattle buyers on Monday, March 16, at the site of what was formerly the Hinz Auction facility.

Boeing still has plans to use a rural Oklahoma airport for flight tests of its 737 Max and 777X aircraft, but state officials don’t know quite when the aircraft will come in for a landing.
