Federal prisons evidently do have room for more inmates

A Clinton man who allegedly ridiculed a sheriff’s deputy last February for threatening to charge him with a felony because, in his opinion, the prisons were too full already, was sentenced Thursday to seven years in federal prison.

The subject is Jason Scott Pedro, 37.
