The Clinton Board of Education will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at the school board office, 1720 Opal Ave., where they will vote on a resolution to put a $27.5 million school bond proposal on an October ballot.

A Clinton man allegedly caught in the act of stealing a lawnmower here late Wednesday morning has been charged with first-degree burglary and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

The suspect is Alex Ramirez, 36. Detective Capt. Ray Hammans said the vehicle had been stolen in Oklahoma City.

A Michigan man has been charged with three felonies stemming from his apparently intentional ramming of Lt. Steven Cornell’s Oklahoma Highway Patrol vehicle Tuesday at Weatherford.
