Ten years after purchasing the land where their new home stands, the congregation of Clinton’s Church of the Nazarene will open its doors to the community at an open house and dedication service to be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in its new location, 800 S. 28th.

A Hobart man on probation with the Department of Corrections has been charged with two felonies for allegedly shooting a Clinton man in the back as the climax to a drug deal gone sour.

The shooting occurred May 11 in a parking lot at 1504 Neptune Dr. in Clinton.
