A celebration of life for Ray Baker was held on Nov. 7, 11 a.m. at New Hope Fellowship in Clinton, Ok. with Rev. Gary Jones Jr. and Jamie Patton officiating.
Ray Baker was born Nov. 3, 1975, and died Sept. 19, 2020.
He was born in El Paso, Tx. and grew up in Western Ok.
He moved to Clinton in Dec. 2012, to the Methodist Nursing Home (now called Clinton Therapy & Living Center). He enjoyed being a part of the activities at Clinton TLC and the Pre-K Inter-generational Program, where he was affectionately referred to as Uncle Ray or Ray Ray.
He was a big OU fan.
Ray was a faithful member of New Hope Fellowship. He enjoyed church dinners, attending New Hopes monthly Men’s meetings, the annual Valentine Banquet and the Christmas Party. The highlight of each year for Ray was going to the Dodgers baseball game with the church group.
While many people thought they were helping Ray, it was really him who was helping them. He taught you thankfulness, to be courteous, patient and to never take life for granted.
Ray will be greatly missed and forever hold a special place in the hearts of many.
