Graveside services for Peggy Ann Waller, 90 year-old Weatherford resident, will be held Thursday, December 10, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Custer Masonic Cemetery with Doyal Warren officiating. Services are under the direction of Lockstone Funeral Home.
Peggy was born November 29, 1930, in Clovis, New Mexico to Walter and Eva Opal (White) Bourlier and passed away at home in Weatherford.
Peggy’s family moved to Custer City in 1932, where she was raised and attended school, graduating from Custer High School in 1948. On December 26, 1947, she married Charles Lash in Wheeler, Texas and made their home northeast of Custer City where they raised their family.
Peggy worked alongside Charles on the farm before moving to Clinton and later to Dallas. In 1984, she married John Waller in Plano, Texas. Peggy owned Peggy Anne Miniatures and Originals and later worked in real estate.
She moved to Weatherford to be near family in 2010. Peggy enjoyed painting oil and pastels, Bible study, church activities, writing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Memorials may be made to the Weatherford Fire Department.
Peggy is survived by two daughters, Charleen Jantz and Sheila Miller both of Weatherford; one brother, Tommy Dale Bourlier of Petersburg, Virginia; three grandchildren, Chad Friesen and wife, Kellie of Oklahoma City, Chris Clark and fiancé, Lisa Garcia of Arlington, Texas, and Matt Miller and wife, Aleesha of Custer City; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob Miller, Connor Miller, and Mason Miller all of Custer City.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two sisters, Norma Jean and Dorothy Vivian; and two daughters, Judy and Debby.
