Funeral Services for David L. Atchley, 77, Clinton resident, will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 30, 2021 in the Kiesau Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Charley Murphy. Burial will conclude in the Parkersburg Cemetery west of Clinton under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

David Leon Atchley was born November 23, 1943 to Jimmy Leon Atchley and Ethel (Miller) Atchley in Clinton, OK and passed away Monday, July 26, 2021 near Weatherford, OK from the results of an automobile accident.

David was raised in Clinton and attended and graduated from Arapaho High School in 1962. He married Roberta Shockey on May 14, 1966 in Carter, OK. He has been employed with Elk Supply for several years and was due to retire in three days.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Roberta, grandson, Brice Atchley, sister, Starla Koehler and brother, Warren Atchley.

He was a member of the Army National Guard; he enjoyed NASCAR, television, following his kids sports, being with family and he was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan.

He is survived by three sons, Bryan Atchley and wife, Kathy, Brent Atchley and wife, Jill, and Brandon Atchley and wife, Amber, all of Clinton.

He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one greatgrandchild.
