Larry Wayne Kirkpatrick, 74, Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed from this life Friday September 10, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mobley-Groesbeck Funeral Service of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Larry will be Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 10:00am, in the Broadway Baptist Church in Sand Springs. Visitation for Larry will be Friday, September 17, 2021, from 12 noon until 8pm. The family will greet friends from 6pm until 8pm.

Larry was born in Thomas, Oklahoma, to Hubert Wayne Kirkpatrick and Betty Jane (Cole) Kirkpatrick, on September 16, 2021. Following his graduation from Fay High School, Larry attended and graduated from Southwestern State University with his doctorate in Pharmacy. He did serve his country in the National Guard. Larry was married to Nancy Lou Stanley on February 18, 1967, in Hollis, Oklahoma. They were able to enjoy 52 years of marriage prior to her death in 2019. Larry was an Oklahoma University Football fan. He loved going to the games as well as watching them on television. Much of his spare time was reading and watching Westerns on Television. Larry was a wonderful Dad and Grandfather. He was a great support to all of them in their sport activities. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith. Larry will be greatly missed by both family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Betty Kirkpatrick; wife Nancy Kirkpatrick; sisters Jerry Lamb and Betty Jane and Vickie Jean Kirkpatrick.

He is survived by daughter Judith Adams and husband Bryan; son Chris Kirkpatrick and wife Torey; grandchildren Jacey Smallwood and husband Shawn, Britton Adams and wife Katy, Leah Kirkpatrick, and Hannah Kirkpatrick; great-grandchildren Brylin Smallwood, Tinsley Smallwood, and Hattie Lou Smallwood; Uncle Bennett Cole; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
