Billie Lou Lovelace was born on July 3rd, 1946 to Ernest and Dixie (Nichols) Lovelace in Elk City, OK. He passed away Thursday, October 7th, 2021 at home in Clinton, OK. Bill was raised in Hammon, OK and graduated from Hammon High School in 1964. He worked for the Soil Conservation and Arkla Gas Company where he retired.
On September 7, 1971 he married the love of his life, Dorothy (Caswell) Lovelace. They just celebrated 50 years together.
Bill had a big loving heart. He loved his Lord and was not bashful sharing God’s word with others through his red heart ministry. He loved his big extended family and was blessed with many friends. Bill enjoyed singing, hunting, and his chickens. He loved collecting knives and coins.
He is preceeded in death by his parents Ernest and Dixie, one brother, Boyd Lovelace, one sister, Von Pritchard, one son, Tim Waltrip and one daughter Pam Lewis.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of the home. Three sons, John and his wife Sharon Waltrip of Tahlequah Oklahoma. Shawn and his wife Lori Lovelace of Yukon Oklahoma. Todd Lovelace of Elk City Oklahoma. One daughter, Dewana and husband Joe Wynn of Elk City Oklahoma. Bill was blessed with 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and will be missed by many other family and friends.
