Aaron Lance Donelson was born November 22, 1971, to Raymond Marland Donelson and Velma Jean “Ducky” (Kluver) Donelson in Clinton, OK and passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, in the Oklahoma University Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. After college, Lance began his flying career as a charter pilot. In 2001 Lance was hired by Southwest Airlines as a First Officer. During his 20-year career at Southwest he was promoted to Captain; something he was very proud of. Lance often bragged about visiting all 50 states during his career.
He enjoyed golf, cycling, sports, Jeopardy, and anything competitive but most of all he enjoyed coaching and cheering on his three children during their sporting events. He was and will always be their biggest fan. Lance was the “Cool Dad” and always had a house full of Kids.
He is survived by his daughter, Lexi Makenzie Donelson, two sons, Logan Ray Donelson and Landon Wesley Donelson, all of Clinton and his mother, “Ducky” Donelson, Arapaho, OK.
He is preceded in death by his dad, Raymond Donelson and a brother, Kevin Donelson.
