Barbara Ophelia Perkins, 78, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 3, 2023 in Oklahoma City.

She was born on March 25, 1944 to Chris and Arnetta (Orso)Reed in Calvert, Alabama, the youngest of fourteen children. Barbara grew up and attended school in Calvert and graduated from Calvert High School. She moved to California and then in 1979, moved to Cordell, Oklahoma.

Barbara worked at the Cordell Christian home and retired from the Clinton Veterans Center. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Barbara will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by children: Jackie Olsen & husband John, Wellston, OK, Frank Perkins & wife Merideth, Cordell, OK, Oscar Perkins, Cordell, OK, Mary Perkins, Crescent, OK, 13 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, brother Hershel Reed, OK and Sister Hattie Lipscomb, AL.

She is preceded in death by Parents Chris and Arnetta Reed and 12 Brothers and Sisters.
