Melissa Nicole Hall, 42, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away unexpectedly at her home on April 7, 2023. She was born on November 1, 1980 to Brad and Cheryl (Thomas) Hall in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Melissa and her family moved to Clinton in 1981, where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Clinton High School in 1999. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2006 and a Masters Degree in Education for Community Counseling in 2007. Melissa worked at The George Hawkins Center in Clinton. Due to her failing health she moved to Oklahoma City with her mother.
Melissa started working as a Journalist in 2019 at the Oklahoma Chronic Magazine.
She was a huge advocate for the medical Marijuana Industry, Dog Rescue and Homeless Alliance.
Melissa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include: Mother: Cheryl Hall, The Village, OK, Brother: Ryan Hall, The Village, OK, Grandpa: Ray Myers, Uncles: Dale Hall, Gary Hall, Joe Thomas, Glen Cramer, Aunts: Alicia Myers, Kim Hall Digby and Numerous Cousins and Friends.
Preceded in death by her Father: Brad Hall, Grandparents: Johnny & Elsie Balentine Eva & Earl Cramer, Earlena Myers, Woody Thomas, and Benjamin P. Hall, and her fur babies: Weenie, Gypsy, BeBe, and Maggie.
Graveside: 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023, Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, OK.
Visitation: 1:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2023, 9:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 11, 2023 9:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 12, 2023 Ray & Martha’s Funeral Home, Cordell, Oklahoma.
