Edith Loraine Everhart “Janie” was born on May 14th, 1928, to Georgia and Henry Hickman. She passed away on Sunday, January 14th, 2024, in Clinton, OK.

Her siblings include Henrietta, Doris “Bubba”, June Dale, Low, Flo, and David.

She married Willie Albert “Bill” Sr.

In June 1950. They lived on a family farm in Lone Wolf, OK where Bill preceded her in death in 1969. They had two sons, Billy Joe, Bennie (deceased) and Cynthia Ann (deceased).

She was very proud of her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

She was well known for her 80+ year career of being a waitress. If you had the pleasure of being served by Janie or eat one of her delicious meals, you will smile at the sight of a pretty flower pinned in her hair.

She was a staple in the Clinton community and will be missed dearly.

A come and go memorial in her honor will be held Sunday February 4th from 2pm to 4pm at the Branding Iron in Clinton in the Charolais Room.
