A Mass for Thomas Miller, 89, Clinton resident will be held 12:00 Noon, Friday, June 7, 2024, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, officiated by Father Mandagiri Balaswamy and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
Thomas Miller, 89, Clinton passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at Clinton Regional Hospital in Clinton, OK.
Thomas Edward Miller was born January 2, 1935, to Edward Nye Miller and Florence (Wirtz) Miller in Toledo, OH.
Thomas was raised in Toledo, OH where he graduated from high school in 1953. He continued his education at Toledo University and graduated in 1957 with an Engineer Degree. While in College he was a Captain in the ROTC program. He was employed with the Campbell’s Soup Company and later worked for Johns Manville. While working at the Manville Company he worked with a team at NASA making tiles to insulate one of the Space Shuttles. He moved to Western Oklahoma in 1981 and worked for the Janesville Company in Burns Flat, OK. He retired in 1990.
He was married to Sandra Kay Johnson on November 5, 2020, in Clinton, OK.
He is a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, he was an engineer in all aspects, he enjoyed doing auto mechanic stuff and even built a Kit Car once. He was a dog lover, and he is leaving behind his four-legged buddy, Chip.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Kimberlie Anne Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra, of the home, daughter, Julie Ankney, Norman, OK and former son in law, Frank Ankney, Noble, OK.
He is also survived by a granddaughter, Ameila Anne Ankney, and great grandson, Arron Michael Harris, Norman, OK.
