John David Ottinger passed away Nov. 8, 2024 at the age of 82. Services for John were held in November 2024.

He was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Pete and Grace Ottinger on Oct. 10, 1942. He dedicated 30 years of honorable service to the United States Army and 20 years to the Internal Revenue Service as a Civil Servant and Special Agent. John graduated Clinton High School in 1960, he and his family attended First United Methodist Church.

John is survived by his sister, Sue Jenkins of Edmond, Oklahoma; and four daughters, Susan Holmes, Pattie King, Amy Boehle and Beth Graefe.

John’s greatest joy was his cherished family, including his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to his life. He shared many blessed years with his beloved wife Betty, who preceded him in death, and maintained close relationships with his niece and nephews Christina, Scott, and Mike.
