Funeral services will be held for Ricky Kent Wood, 63, of Clinton, at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Christian Church in Clinton.
He died Tuesday, May 14, 2019, at his home.
Wood was born Sept. 24, 1955, to James K. Wood and Carmen Lea (Jackson) Wood in Ardmore. He graduated from Duncan High School in 1973.
On July 4, 2002, he married Peggy Whitney.
Wood worked in the oil and gas industry more than 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, painting the Clinton football field, watching sports and hanging out with family and friends in his garage. He was a member of The Crossing Church in Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Don Treece; his stepmother, Ruth Wood; and a stepsister, Sherry Crawford.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two daughters, Shannon Rodolph (McCary) of Weatherford, and Amber Simon and husband Jason of Elk City; two step-daughters, Rochelle Leonard and fiancé Roman Juarez of Clinton, and Robin Tucker (Phillip) of Moore; four brothers, Rocky Wood, Jeff Treece, Johnny Kirkland and Danny Kirkland; four sisters, Jamie Harrison, Kelly Roundtree, Dawn Leslie Cooper and Lisa Wollever; and seven grandchildren, Arik and Dillon Soto, Cash Rodolph, Chesni and Mattie Simon, and Paris and Rylee Tucker.
The service will be officiated by Charles Jackson and Gwen Rutz and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Clinton Cemetery.
