A memorial service for Christiane Erika Lawton, 61, of Clinton was held Tuesday at The Edge Church, with Randy Jones officiating and under the direction of the Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.

Christy was born July 29, 1958, in Giessen, Germany, to Kenneth D. and Waltraud (Noll) Watt and passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020, at her home.

Christy was raised in Colorado and graduated Harrison High School Class of 1976. Also in Colorado she received her medical assistant license, and her degree in childcare from Redlands, here in Oklahoma.

She loved painting-by-number, playing cards, doing word searches, and most especially playing with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle Howard and her boyfriend Chad; her grandkids Jarissa, Jaiden and Chance; her sisters Ingrid and husband Tom Williams of Arapaho, and Moneka and husband Tony Smith of Clinton; her brothers Herbert Watt and wife Annette of Arizona, and Detlef Eschler and wife Marita of Germany; her lifelong friend Teresa Davis (Momo) of Clinton; and numerous nephews, nieces and great-nephews and -nieces.
