Mary Ann Ivy, 68, of Cordell, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on May 29th, 2020.

She was born on August 4th, 1951 to James and Pauline (Burns) Rutherford in Cordell, Oklahoma. Mary grew up and attended school in Cordell, graduating from Cordell High School in 1969.

She met the love of her life, Robert Ivy, and they married in the First Baptist Church in Cordell on September 7, 1976, and to this union was born four children: Carla, Murlene, Jacob and Kristy.

Mary worked as a cook at the school for a couple years and then decided to clean homes for people and did so for the past fifteen years. She loved to go hunting with her husband and she loved being with her family.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her husband, Robert.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Ivy of Cordell, OK; her children, Carla Woodward of Cordell, OK, Murlene Stewart of Minneapolis, MN, Jacob Ivy of Cordell, OK, and Kristy Ivy of Cordell, OK; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Paula Leffingwell of Cordell, OK, Janie Washington of Muskogee, OK, Mae Belle Anderson of Clinton, OK, and Betty Bailey; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William James Rutherford.
