Anita Doyle (Nelson) Lynn entered into rest, on September 2, 2020, in Clinton, Oklahoma. Anita was born in a home just west of Laverne, Oklahoma to Ernest and Florence (Button) Nelson. She graduated from Laverne High School in 1950.

Anita married Robert Evan Lynn on March 3, 1950 to this union four children were born Grace Ann, Virginia May, Robert (Pete), and Rodney Lynn. They raised their family on a farm near Ashland, Kansas.

Anita enjoyed being a farmer’s wife, raising chickens, gardening, fishing with Robert, and canning. She loved taking care of others by making quilts, baby blankets, winter caps and socks for the hospital and homeless shelter. She also cared and cooked for several elderly neighbors. Spending time and family dinners were her greatest love.

Anita was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Gene Nelson and wife Bonita children Patricia, Steven, and Marty, Robert Nelson and daughter Grace Ann. She is survived by daughter Virginia May and family, son Pete, son Rodney Lynn, and Grace’s family.

Graveside service will be held Friday, September 11, 2020 at 2:00 PM at the Highland Cemetery in Ashland, Kansas.
