Montiel “Bumpy” Crane gets a high five from Kat Meacham after he won the gold in discus at the Class 4A State Track Meet last weekend. The two sophomores are responsible for the past two state titles in discus, as Meacham won last year as a freshman. She took third this year and runner-up in the shot put. Crane bested the field by more than 15 feet.
Earlier this week the Arapaho-Butler boys’ golf team did more than just compete in the Class 2A State Tournament at Buffalo Rock in Cushing.

Clinton High School soccer will get a chance this weekend to add to its dynastic legacy, as the Red Tornadoes earned the right to defend last year’s state championship thanks to a 2-1 victory Over Hilldale Tuesday at the Tornado Bowl.
Monday it was the Clinton High School boys’ tennis team’s turn to vie for a spot in this weekend’s Class 4A State Championship.
Five members of the Arapaho-Butler Lady Indians track team and one male competitor traveled this weekend to the Class A State Track Meet at Western Heights High School in Oklahoma City.
