For the second straight weekend, the Clinton baseball team (8-7 overall) ended with a fourth-place finish at a tournament, repeating its results from the I-40 Classic, at the Kingfisher-Piedmont Tourney Saturday.

It had been two years since the Clinton soccer program had played in a district contest, but the gap didn’t change anything for the Reds and Lady Reds Tuesday night at home, as both teams swept Elgin for the program’s 17th consecutive district sweep.

Clinton track’s young throwing trio, featuring freshman Montiel Crane, sophomore Lola Hester and freshman Kat Meacham placed for the fourth consectuive meet to open the season, at Thomas this past weekend.
