Corn Bible Academy senior quarterback Brendan Miller, pictured, and the Crusaders (1-9 overall) saw their season end, with a 60-26 loss at Maysville, in the opening round of the playoffs. Burns Flat-Dill City’s season came to an end Friday as well, losing its first-round game at Cordell, 43-22. CDN

Reds roar past Panthers

Clinton’s postseason got off to a virtually perfect start Friday night at the Tornado Bowl, scoring on the first five possessions and shutting out the Harrah Panthers’ offense in the first half, in an eventual, 38-13, first-round win.

West signs with UTPB cross country

The Clinton cross country program is sending one of its runners onto the next level, as senior Logan West signed with the University of Texas Permian Basin Wednesday in the Clinton High School Library.
