A-B boys’ perfect record ends at MV-G

MOUNTAIN VIEW – The best start in Arapaho-Butler boys’ basketball’s recent history came to an end, in a 50- 46, overtime loss at Mountain View-Gotebo Tuesday night.

Reds win their third in a row

The Clinton boys’ basketball team (4-2 overall) seems to have found its game-togame rhythm since the Weatherford Tournament, carrying over that momentum into a 62-37 win against Altus (2-6) Tuesday at home.

CACHE – Even though the No. 12 Clinton wrestling team (0-1 overall, 0-1 in district) wasn’t at full strength healthwise, it nearly managed to pull off a big upset, falling 39-32 to No. 7 Cache (4-0, 1-0) Tuesday.

Indians push perfect record to 11-0

ARAPAHO – No trophies or awards were handed out for Arapaho-Butler basketball’s annual Western Equipment Tournament-turnedfestival this past weekend, but the No. 3 A-B boys notched one major achievement, reaching 11-0 for the first time in this prolonged run of success.

WEATHERFORD – In a Weatherford Tournament headlined by multiple ranked teams and state tourney contenders, Clinton’s basketball teams managed to log a 2-1 mark, earning a couple plaques in the process.

WEATHERFORD – The Clinton girls’ basketball team entered the fourth quarter, leading 27-22, and with the pressure on to maintain that lead, they played winning basketball, sinking timely buckets and avoiding turnovers, in a 39-32 win over Duncan Thursday in the opening round of the Weatherford Tourney.

ARAPAHO – Sweep city is what the Arapaho-Butler basketball program has been across the last two seasons, and it picked up No. 17 in that span, with a beat down of both Sweetwater squads Tuesday night at home.

Clinton sweeps Elk City again

Tuesday night’s win made it back-to-back sweeps for the Clinton basketball program against rival Elk City, with the CHS squads taking down the rival Elks for the secondstraight season at the Tornado Dome.
