It took some time to get going, but the Clinton girls’ basketball team found its shooting rhythm and stayed in the zone, knocking down 15 threepointers in a 59-31, senior night win over the Bethany Bronchos Friday at the Tornado Dome.
A year filled with so many holes in the lineup sees the No. 13 Clinton wrestling team carrying 13 wrestlers out of a possible 14 spots for the regional tournament next week.
Injuries decimated the Clinton wrestling team across the 2019-2020 season, reducing the starting lineup down for duals and tournaments. During those instances, CHS needed the rest of its lineup to be there to make up for those holes.

A strong high school program starts before athletes move into their varsity careers, and Clinton wrestling has the luxury of a strong base at the peewee and junior high levels.
