Over the last two seasons, Clinton tennis senior Colten Adams provided head coach Phil Veazey with an experienced player at the singles level, while also boosting the overall team morale.
OSSAA released the soccer playoff brackets Tuesday, pairing both Clinton squads with Harding Charter Prep in the first round at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday at the Tornado Bowl.
CHEYENNE – Just like its softball counterpart, the Arapaho-Butler baseball team (12-11 overall) had to go on the road for the district tournament, but it exited with another title Friday at Cheyenne.
Clinton soccer is a combined 26-2 overall. The Reds (14-0 overall, 7-0 in district) and Lady Reds (12-2, 7-0) have outscored their opponents 151-20.

ELK CITY – A season-long goal was accomplished by the Clinton girls’ golf team Monday at regionals, as it qualified for its fourth straight state tourney with a second-place finish at Elk City.
ELK CITY – With its regional destinations still up in the air, the Clinton baseball team (22-9 overall, 6-4 in district) lost its final district game of the 2019 season at Elk City (12-15, 5-5) Monday, 13-1.
ARAPAHO – If metal bats could splinter, they would’ve in the run-riddled, slow-pitch softball matchup between Arapaho-Butler (19-10 overall) and Clinton (7-18) Monday at Arapaho.
