CHS ready to do battle in rivalry game

After four straight home games, the Clinton Red Tornadoes football team (3-2, 2-0) is set to the hit the road for the second time this season as it will travel 15 miles down the road Friday to take on arch-rival the Weatherford Eagles (4-2, 2-0) for another edition of the “Custer County Conflict.”

The Mountain View-Gotebo Tigers were able to spoil Corn Bible Academy’s homecoming Friday night at Crusader Park with a 36-8 win in a district game that could have been different if only CBA would have had more bodies to put on the field to play against the Tigers.

CHS passes first test of district play

As the Clinton High School Red Tornadoes continues through district play, the program welcomed the Elk City Elks to the Tornado Bowl where Clinton would prevail 21-7 in a hard-fought match.

Ceniceros works hard to prove people wrong

Former Red Tornado football player Antonio Ceniceros said he has to work harder compared to others on the field to compensate for his size, as he plays for Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
