Tuesday’s election saw both propositions on the ballot pass handily thanks to Clinton voters. With 98 percent of the votes reported, Proposition 1, the continuation of the City of Clinton’s agreement with Public Service Company of Oklahoma, passed by a margin of 427-28. Proposition 2, the rededication of the half-percent sales tax, passed by a vote of 366-93 with 98 percent of the votes tabulated.
