As the first day of filing concluded, incumbent Mayor David Berrong and opponent Chris Roland have both filed for the mayoral race. In the council elections, Bobby Stewart has filed for the Ward 4 position. However, neither Ernie Dowdell, the incumbent for Ward 2, nor Arthur Lloyd, the incumbent for Ward 4, has filed for re-election at this time.
