According to Clinton Police Chief Luis De La Torre, at approximately 5:18 p.m. Thursday Officer Michael Davis responded to a call about a store robbery at the Love’s Travel Stop near Interstate 40’s exit 71.

The Custer County Election Board stated Clinton residents who are unregistered to vote and wish to cast their ballot in the upcoming Special Election on Jan. 14 must register to do so by Friday, Dec. 20.

Berrong selected for Mayors Council

The Mayors Council of Oklahoma (MCO) Board of Directors has selected four new members to join the board, and among them is Clinton’s Mayor David Berrong.

The H.O.S.T. Ministries Church at 605 Avant will be holding a Christmas Community Meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 14. Organizers say everyone is welcome and residents can either eat at the church or take the food with them. All will receive a fruit snack.
