Washington Elementary School is organizing a “Resource Round-Up” event focused on improving student attendance. The event is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday at the school located at 601 N. 13th St. Sessions will run from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. on both days.

Other matters under consideration by the Clinton City Council Tuesday included the continuing saga of the Midtown Travel Inn, another payment round for work at the water tower located at 18th Street and Broadway Avenue, approving a right-of-way agreement with PSO, and authorizing street closure for an upcoming arts show.
