A Thanksgiving turkey or a Christmas ham can be a point of pride for many home chefs. These entrees for special holiday meals are often debuted from the oven to great anticipation and fanfare as families gather to share traditions.
Every year, educators from across the state make a pilgrimage to the Oklahoma Fall Arts Institute at Quartz Mountain, where they spend the weekend broadening their creative horizons and learning skills to take back to their classrooms. While the workshops have moved online this year because of COVID-19, the new virtual platform allows for more courses, as well as space for more attendees.
A group of lawmakers commented on the recent report from State Auditor and Inspector Cindy Byrd regarding the investigative audit of EPIC Charter Schools performed at the request of Governor Kevin Stitt and called for further action as a result of the findings.
