The Clinton Fire Department, Clinton Police Department and Sinor EMS responded to a two-vehicle accident with injuries around noon Sunday on N. 3rd Street and Gary Boulevard. Officer responded to a single-vehicle accident 2200 and two or three miles off Highway 73.

New Clinton VA clinic now open

Clinton’s new VA clinic for veterans has officially opened and is accepting appointments, but in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic will only be offering limited services for now, said Oklahoma City VA Public Affairs Officer Audrey Umhoefer.

Lack of response in area to 2020 Census raising concern

City and county officials remain very concerned about the low number of households that have completed a 2020 U.S. Census form so far, despite Congress having extended the deadline this year because of COVID-19.

Former Ward 4 Clinton City Councilmember Mustafa Sami notified the Clinton Daily News of his intentions to file next week to reclaim his former seat.
